Experience
Working with ME
Back in August of 2025, Mckenziesportsphotography was born. Starting out with my iPhone camera I started the journey photographing the Northmor Cross Country Invitational. Since then the journey has seen me do 10 weeks of Friday Night Lights, multiple cross country meets, and volleyball followed by a state football game between Bellevue and Lima Bath.
The next move saw me up my equipment to a Canon R50 with a 200m-800mm lens. With this upgrade I took on the assignment of working the OHSAA Cross Country postseason, with stops at the District Meet at Galion, the Regional Meet at Tiffin, and finally covering the State XC meet at Fortress Obetz.
After a successful football season, once again the equipment upgraded as I traded in my Canon R50 for a Sony Alpha IV with a Tamron 35-300mm lens. With this new camera and lens I covered over 80 basketball games, 8 competition cheerleading events, district wrestling held by Norwalk High School and ended the winter season covering the Spy Report and Lorain County All-Star games.
Finally in the spring, a wide variety of events having been covered including a pitstop out of sports doing Vermilion High School's theater production of Grease, followed by covering baseball, softball, track and Tennis.

I am willing to cover wherever clients want. My coverage includes going to venues such as Massillon Jackson High School, Whitehouse Anthony Wayne High School, Green High School and Eversole Run Middle School all for events.

03. How do you handle Event Days?

My Approach to event days is I like to be there at least 30 minutes before the start time. With this in mind I stay throughout the event unless circumstances lead me to leave such as clients getting injured or weather.

Q4: Do I Offer Postgame or POST-RACE photos or Send Photos right After?

My routine after a game, meet, or compition is to edit all my photos before posting them or sending them to clients who request them. With this in mind if circumstances lead me to send them without being edited I will.
